I started my legal career working as an applicant attorney in workers’ compensation cases because I enjoyed helping others in bad situations get their lives back on track and receive the compensation they deserve. I also gained valuable litigation experience working for an insurance defense firm for several years. With these negotiation and litigation skills in hand, I was prepared to help launch the LMS firm in 2003 and exclusively represent those seriously injured by the fault of others.
Preparation is the foundation of my work. I always aim to have a solid understanding of potential outcomes and remain straightforward and approachable with my clients throughout the process.
I enjoy working at LMS Law because there is a collegial atmosphere of peers where we take pleasure in serving our clients, in our camaraderie, and in maintaining a healthy work/life balance. To be the best attorneys we can be, having balance and working in a collaborative environment is essential.
If you asked me what my secret to success is, I would say relentless preparation and attention to detail, strong work ethic, the ability to communicate and connect with all types of personalities, and devising creative ways to resolve issues. Success is truly a measure of many habits working together to provide the highest level of results.
When I am not at the firm, I spend my time skiing, golfing, mountain biking, and swimming. I also enjoy hiking, fitness, volunteering in daughters’ Catholic school communities, St. Vincent de Paul parish, and my alma maters. I also coach CYO basketball and, of course, save some time to support the Giants, Niners, and Warriors.
